Dulce Desserts is a boutique bakery, located in vibrant Melrose community in Nashville, TN.  Founded by Juanita Lane, Dulce has been have been proud to serve the Nashville market for almost 10 years during which we have been honored to create wedding cakes, baby shower sweets, anniversary & birthday cakes for the community that has long supported our success.

With an artisanal approach to everything we do and one-of-a-kind desserts, Dulce is dedicated to bringing the finest in sweet treats to Nashville’s weddings and social gatherings. Our talented staff has trained at various culinary institutions and Dulce Desserts has been featured in many regional and national publications, including Southern Living and Town & Country Magazines.  We have been recognized as Best of Nashville and Editor’s Choice for Best Cake by the Nashville Scene and continue to support wonderful charity causes including Power of the Purse, the Hunt Ball, Women Against MS Luncheon, Signature Chef Auction for March of Dimes, and Agape Animal Rescue.

Meet Juanita Lane, Founder and Executive Pastry Chef

Juanita Lane, founder and executive pastry chef at Dulce Desserts, left her corporate job in 1994 to find her true calling and a sweet calling in turned out to be.  A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Juanita incorporated her love of homemade Southern scratch cooking with the culinary traditions of European bakeries to develop the artisanal decadence of Dulce Desserts.

Trained at Notter School of Pastry by such cake specialists as Ron Ben Israel and Sue McMahon, Juanita is matched by no-one when it comes to delicious handcrafted cakes and desserts in Nashville’s event and wedding industry.  A lover of good food and traveling, Juanita makes regular inspirational pilgrimages to Paris and New York, bringing the romance and decadence of these cities to Nashville.
